Urethritis

Inflammation, infection, or irritation of the urethra, the small tube that runs from the bladder to carry urine out of the body. Urethritis is most commonly caused by bacteria or infection in the body, such as if an individual contracts a bladder infection. It is usually treated with prescribed medication and will heal properly and quickly with treatment.
