After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin, Mr. Rue went on to attend the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 1974.

Since opening his own personal injury law firm in 1976, Attorney John Rue has successfully represented thousands of clients in a wide array of personal injury and auto accident claims.

In his more than three decades in practice, Mr. Rue has built a highly respected personal injury law firm in Volusia County that has helped numerous Floridians and other individuals win compensation for their various injuries, lost income, and pain and suffering.

A devoted motorcycle enthusiast, Mr. Rue is well known as a knowledgeable motorcycle injury attorney. Throughout his distinguished legal career, he has represented bikers from all over the country in their severe injury and wrongful death cases. In addition, Mr. Rue sponsors motorcycle races including some national championships, and several motorcycle clubs.

Prior to opening his own personal injury and wrongful death practice, Mr. Rue worked for insurance companies as an adjuster, a claims supervisor and a claims attorney. His in depth knowledge of the insurance industry has provided him with a more sophisticated, skilled and sympathetic approach to handling plaintiffs’ lawsuits and meeting all of his clients’ needs.

In addition to being admitted to the Florida Bar Association and all Florida Courts, Mr. Rue presently holds admissions in the Volusia County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association, the American Association for Justice, and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
